With this transition came my need to redecorate their shared bedroom, and to look for new artwork for their walls. In my experience, finding the perfect artwork for children is rather difficult but luckily for me, I came across Cici Art Factory, while browsing away on my laptop one night. Prints start at $29.95 CND plus 7% for taxes and giclee canvases start at $79.95 CND plus 7% for taxes. Each print is professionally printed in Canada, signed and hand-embossed by Liz Clay, and comes with a matte ready for framing. A giclee print (in case anyone is wondering) is a reproduction using all the tonalities and hues of the original painting. The great thing about choosing the giclee canvases, besides the larger size and that is comes ready to hang, is the fact that Liz will customize the colour of the hair, skin, and eyes to resemble your child. She will also add personalization (your child’s name, initials, etc.) for an additional fee of $10.00 CND. These touch-ups will be complete within two days after payment, and a photo will be sent for your approval before the canvases are shipped out. Shipping is a flat rate of $4.95 CND and usually takes 7 business days. I received mine in four days.
Here are the canvases that I ordered a few weeks ago. I love them and my kids love them even more! I am so thrilled with the customized skin tones and hair and the subtle way my children’s initials were incorporated into the paintings, as per my request.
I just received these canvases a few days ago, and yet I already have my eye on a future purchase. Both my children are really fascinated by the solar system at the moment. We are always star gazing and moon-watching at night, and so the following amazing painting would be another perfect addition to the children’s room.
