Sisters

Please do not tell me I’m not like other women. They are all my sisters. I choose to stand with women.

I cry with women and I’ve found my strength and comfort in women. I’ve been inspired by the kindest but also the fiercest of women.

A woman risked her life to birth me. I stand proud because of the sacrifices of women before me. I pray the generations that come after me, will achieve more than me.

I’m not different. We’re all the same. Don’t we all carry the same hopes and pain?

NOTE to Women . Patriarchy has taught you to envy, judge, and destroy other women. Open your eyes to what we can achieve when instead of competing, we work to empower eachother. An achievement for one of us brings power for all of us.
